Beijing Guoan has announced that midfielder Wang Gang will be out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury sustained in their last match against Chongqing Dalian. Wang Gang, who joined Beijing Guoan from Jiangsu U23s in January 2018, was known for his strong defensive abilities and his ability to play both as a central defender and as a left back.
