Al Ahli striker Rodrigo Muniz suffered an injury during the club's friendly match against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
The Brazilian forward, who joined Al Ahli from Barcelona last summer for a reported fee of €15 million ($17 million), was replaced by substitute Younes Belhaddad after just two minutes of the match.
Muniz, who had scored four goals and provided three assists in eight appearances for Al Ahli this season,Premier League Updates was stretchered off the pitch and taken to hospital where he underwent tests.
It is not yet known what the extent of Muniz's injury is or whether he will be fit to play again for Al Ahli or any other team in the near future.
Real Madrid were also without their star player, Karim Benzema, as he missed the game due to a knee injury.
The friendly match between Al Ahli and Real Madrid ended with a goalless draw. Both teams will now focus on their upcoming league games and cup competitions.
